We employed Shaun Blaxley for our extension project on our home which included: the demolition of an existing garage; construction of a new two storey extension and a number of internal alterations to our existing home including the installation of a new kitchen and new central heating boiler. We found Shaun to be extremely professional and reliable throughout the whole build process. We felt very comfortable leaving things in his capable hands.
Shaun kept us fully informed on which members of the team would be working that day and gave us sufficient notice so they could progress the work. We did have a small number of unforeseen issues during the project, as you would expect on working on an existing house, but Shaun came up with solutions very quickly and nothing was too much of a problem. There were no unpleasant surprises!
The team are hardworking and undertook the work in a good workmanlike manner and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. His team of sub-contractors are all extremely professional, every one of them started work on the pre-planned day.
We remained living in the house during the whole of the works, there were only two rooms left untouched! What could have been a difficult and stressful experience was made easier by Shaun and the team. They worked around us and we felt extremely comfortable trusting them in our home to get on with the work.
All work was completed to a very high standard, the small number of snagging items were completed soon after the completion of the work.
We are extremely happy with our new home and I would highly recommend Shaun Blaxley.
