S Blaxley Construction undertook a major refurbishment project at this address over a period of three months.
The work consisted of two knock throughs, beam work, installation of a bathroom including all plumbing work, resisting of pipework and laying over 120 square meters of oak flooring. S Blaxley Construction also project managed the installation of the windows throughout the property, rewiring and earthing electrical work throughout the property, plastering and carpentry throughout the property.
I have been very impressed with Shaun Blaxley’s work ethic, work rate and the quality of the work he undertakes. In particular I would recommend the following:
Attention to detail. Shaun is meticulous in the work that he undertakes and his attention to the finishing detail is excellent.
Client Relationship. This is a particular strength and Shaun makes sure that the client is fully engaged and included. At all times during the build Shaun made a point of keeping me up to date with the work’s progress. He also consulted with me, and helped me make good and timely decisions regarding any changes to the build that needed to be made.
Flexibility. We remained in situ throughout the build. This presented challenges for both Shaun and us as a family. Shaun’s flexible approach meant that my family was able to function and live fully in a relatively stress free environment during the entire build. Not an easy task when 6 weeks of the build took place over the summer holidays.
Awareness of Budgets and Costs. I had a strict budget. Shaun provided a detailed quote which was fully aligned to my work schedule. He provided weekly cost breakdowns during the build which I could correlate to both the estimate and work schedule. This meant I could keep in full control of costs, and more importantly I felt in control of the budget. When unforeseen and additional work arose Shaun talked through all of the options with me. These were always considered, appropriate and budge aware.
Shaun has made my home beautiful and I have no hesitation recommending S Blaxley Construction to others.
